A laboratory is a sub-organizational unit of the department where scientific research work can be carried out through fundamental, applied, and developmental research, educational work through experimental and practical work, and standard tests through analytical and diagnostic tests.
The laboratory is managed by the head of the laboratory. The head of the laboratory is responsible for his work to the department head and the department council.
The head of the laboratory is elected by the department council for a term of four years with the possibility of one re-election.
