Studying at European higher education institutions in accordance with the reform of the education system with the recommendations from the Bologna Declaration on Higher Education is now much easier and simplified. Therefore, the promotion of the Quality System in higher education, along with cooperation with higher education institutions in the countries of the region and Europe, as well as the development of joint study programs in the field of natural and mathematical sciences, is one of the basic goals of sustainable development based on knowledge.

This increases the recognition of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics as a reliable and desirable educational and scientific institution in the country and abroad. Today, the Faculty of Science makes a major contribution to the internationalization process of the University of Sarajevo through international activities that include establishing international relations with partner institutions in the world, encouraging the mobility of students, teachers and non-teaching staff, and participating in international projects in the field of higher education.
