Institutes
The Institute is a sub-organizational unit of the Faculty whose activity includes all forms of scientific, research, expert and professional work in the fields of natural, mathematical and theoretical computer sciences. The institute consists of centers as research sub-organizational units.
The work of the institute at the organizational unit is managed by the head of the institute, who is elected in the manner and according to the procedure determined by the general act of the organizational unit.
The head of the institute can be a person chosen for the scientific area, field or branch that the institute deals with.
The institute is responsible for:
- developing and improving scientific research and professional work from a scientific area/field or branch that is studied within the organizational unit,
- participation in the organization and implementation of experimental teaching for all forms of cyclical and non-cyclical education in cooperation with departments and departments,
- improving the forms and methods of imparting and acquiring knowledge in order to increase the efficiency of studying,
- professional and research training of extremely valuable and talented students and younger researchers,
- organizing and carrying out scientific research and professional work, as necessary for other legal entities, publishing the results of scientific research and professional work in the field of activity of the institute,
- the formation of expert teams to solve complex tasks from the domain of the institute's activities, cooperation with scientific research and other
- organizational units of the University and other higher education institutions in the country and abroad from their own and related fields of activity and
- other issues determined by the general act of the organizational unit.
