Data protection
The Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Sarajevo (hereinafter: PMF) takes care of the protection of your personal data and undertakes all necessary technical and organizational measures in accordance with the best practices and obligations prescribed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the General Regulation on Data Protection (hereinafter text: GDPR).
PMF's privacy protection policy governs the way of dealing with the information it processes or collects when our websites are visited. The processing of personal data is based on one of the legal bases of the processing.
Contact
If you contact us using the form on this website or via e-mail, the data that you have submitted to us will remain stored with us until you revoke it or until it is necessary for a purpose that depends on the nature of the business relationship in which we are. We will not pass your data on without your consent, and we will necessarily respect the legal provisions, especially the deadlines for storing personal data.
Enrollment candidates and competition procedure
The student service of PMF collects and processes the personal data of candidates in order to enroll candidates for study. Processing can also be done electronically. If the candidate enrolls in a study program at PMF, we will store the submitted data in compliance with legal regulations regarding studies. If the candidate is not enrolled, we retain the candidate's personal data for the procedure in our database in accordance with the regulations on the preservation of archival material.
Candidates for employment and tendering procedures
The personnel service of the PMF collects and processes the personal data of candidates in order to realize the competition for the establishment of an employment relationship. Processing can also be done electronically. If PMF concludes an employment contract with the candidate, we will store the submitted data in compliance with legal regulations regarding the conclusion of an employment relationship. If the employment contract with the candidate is not signed, the candidate's personal data is deleted after the deadlines for legal remedies have expired, except in the case when, with the candidate's approval in the conducted competition procedure, we retain them in our database for possible future employment.
Data processing (data on partners and contracts)
We process your personal data that we collect during the business relationship, such as name, surname, OIB, address, e-mail address, vehicle registration number, etc. If this is necessary for the performance of our business activities and is not related to a specific contractual or business relationship , we collect data from public sources (Court Register,) or they are legitimately communicated to us by public authorities, contractual partners, or third parties.
We collect, process, and use personal data only in the case when they are necessary for reasons of explanation, editing of content, or change of legal relationship (status data). Pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1, point b of the GDPR, data processing for the implementation of contracts or pre-contractual measures is legal. We collect, process, and use personal data about the use of our websites (usage data) only if it is necessary to enable the user to use this service. Determining data about partners is deleted after the end of the work or after the end of the business relationship, observing the prescribed storage periods.
Cookies
PMF's website and all other PMF web services use cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device by the browser and do not cause any damage. We use cookies to adapt our offer to the needs of users, and some of them remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser again on your next visit. If you don't want that, you can set your browser so that it informs you about saving cookies, so you can allow them only in specific cases. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website will be limited.
The server logs
Servers collect and automatically store information that is automatically sent to us by your browser, in files called server logs. These are the type and version of the browser, the operating system used, the URL that points to the pages, the hostname of the computer being connected, the time of the server request, and the IP address. Connection of this data with other data sources is not carried out.
Your rights
You have the right to receive information about your personal data that we collect, store, and process, the right to correction, deletion, limitation, the possibility of transferring data, revocation, and objection. If you believe that our processing of your personal data violates the rights prescribed by the GDPR or you believe that your rights arising from the GDPR have been violated in some other way, you can submit a complaint to the Personal Data Protection Agency, Dubrovačka no. 6, 71000 Sarajevo, azlpinfo@azlp.ba, http://azlp.ba/
If you do not agree with PMF's personal data protection policy, please do not use our website and do not share your personal data with us. Any changes to PMF's privacy policy will be posted on PMF's website.
