In the period from its establishment to 1992, the Geographical Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina published a total of 35 issues of the Geographical Survey independently or in co-publishing with the Department of Geography of the Faculty of Science, Sarajevo.<\/p>\n

Teachers and associates of the Department of Geography prepare and edit the journal “Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Management”,<\/strong> published by the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Sarajevo. The journal publishes internationally peer-reviewed scientific papers, some of which are presented at the International Tourism and Hospitality Management Congress or are sent directly for publication starting in 2015. It is published once a year, in the Bosnian language, and is published by the Faculty in cooperation with the Society of Chemists and Technologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina until 1990, when the Society ceased to exist.<\/p>\n

In 1998, the Association of Chemists and Technologists of Sarajevo Canton was founded, which together with the Faculty continues to issue the English-language Bulletin (Bulletin of the Chemists and Technologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina) since 2012. Since 2012 published semi-annually. The gazette is indexed in databases in Web of Science (Emerging Sources Citation Index), CAS, and EBSCO.<\/p>\n

The Institute of Biology in Sarajevo was founded on January 11, 1946, by the decision of the National Museum and the Office of the Presidency of the People's Government of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Establishment Decree No. 5962 of January 12, 1946). The decree was published on January 16, 1946 in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina (number 3, page 57). Two years after its establishment, on January 1, 1948, the Institute of Biology became an independent institution under the management and supervision of the Committee for Faculties, Colleges and Scientific Institutions.<\/p>\n

In the same year, the first issue of the journal “Annual of the Institute of Biology” was published, which would be published for the next four decades and which would close down together with its publisher in 1992. All issues of the journal are now available in digitized form on the website of the Faculty of Science.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
